Is WoP a dead game?

This is a question you might ask yourself after watching Redlyne’s video Exploring Dead Games 6. Do we have a small but dedicated player base? Yes. Is WoP dead? No! Every first Sunday of the month, a good dozen players from the community gather at 7 p.m. (CET) for a joint Padday event on our PadWorld server. In addition, players can now also be found there every Friday between 7 and 10 p.m. (CET). Come and check it out!

We are, of course, very happy about the unexpected attention this video has brought to our game. It has been online for less than 24 hours and has already received over 120,000 views and more than 1,100 comments. We like how our game is presented – backed up with facts from our website. A lot of effort and time has gone into this. Despite the similar principle, our game is of course not just a repackaged Quake 3, even if that is where it originated. And no, there is no blood in WoP, as the video suggests! Overall, the review is very positive, which we are happy about. We are already seeing the first effects, as new people are joining our Discord server.
