A new year is upon us and we admit that 2009 was not really the year of World of Padman. Many things did not quite work out the way we planned because of private reasons or staff shortage. We intentionally backed off a little after we realized that 2009 was not the year of WoP 2.0 and there was not as much as we had hoped happening behind the WoP curtains.
Still, you guys managed to keep things going with custom maps and other contributions. We appreciate that you stuck with us although we did not deliver a release this year and could not tell you everything about WoP 2.0 that we were cooking up secretly, since we want to make sure it is a fresh experience once it is released.
We are convinced, however, that the year 2010, which also stands for 10 years of PadMaps, will be a good year for WoP. We did not give up, although there were some obstacles along our way. We have a vision and we want to share this vision with you. The WoP team is eager to get things started again and hopefully supply you with regular news about new features. We would like to thank all of you for being a fantastic community and it is always a pleasure to see what you have added to the game.
